Alpharetta is quickly becoming a desired area for not only families but also young professionals seeking a balance of modern and suburban living. Located 30 minutes outside the heart of Atlanta, our Attis client wanted our team of interior designers and architects to create a space that offers upscale, in-town amenities and the ease of modern suburban design.
Press play to see how the Cortland Design team pulled this community’s interior design renovation together!
Our interior designers and architects cohesively integrated biophilic design within the clubhouse and leasing office renovation. Inspiration developed after the team designed the feature wall in the leasing lounge. Materials of multiple shades of birch beams in varying lengths and coordinating wood flooring frame the interactive marketing television. The beams continue up the ceiling with industrial cage filament pendants that are strategically hung to mimic the night sky. Nature intersects with bio-canvas frames that merge varying shades of green moss, sustainable poplar bark, and mountain light grey stone.
The use of natural materials and furniture in the interior design was essential. As you walk into the renovated leasing office and clubhouse, bluestone and concrete flooring lay the foundation for the corridor pathway that is flanked with light birch benches. These same finishes carry through to the exterior pool deck. To infuse modern and naturalistic elements, designers incorporated a bold, vibrant green and yellow geometric wall covering in the leasing office and fitness center.
This approach brilliantly incorporated biophilic design elements that brought the outside in while maintaining a streamlined minimalist look that reflected the architecture.
The outdoor pool deck boasts poolside cabanas, an entertainment gazebo, and multiple dining and lounge spaces. Residents can truly immerse themselves in a community that provides the best of suburban living and modern amenities.
