While Cortland Design’s Product Development team may be small, it makes a significant impact on the work we do. By understanding and forecasting future trends in the marketplace, our Product Development associates supply our designers with unique, quality products that set Cortland’s apartment homes apart from those of its competitors.
“Our goal is to design and introduce products that our team is excited to use,” says Merchandising and Marketing Manager Ashton York.
Not only does our Product Development team focus on finding the latest trends in the marketplace, but they also design our products. Product Development Manager Cliff Joseph designs product for both internal use and consumers through CASK Industries, Cortland Design’s product manufacturer and wholesale supplier.
In the kitchen rendering above, we mixed different neutrals to create a look that is anything but ordinary. The different tones of taupe used on the tiered shaker cabinets and geometric h-tile pair well with the matte black fixtures and white quartz countertops. While we stuck with a neutral color palette, we created a bold statement by incorporating a trending geometric porcelain wall tile. This kitchen proves that bold doesn’t have to be overpowering, which is essential in the multifamily industry.
